Senior Tax Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Senior Tax Accountant to join our Finance team in the UAE. The role will ensure full compliance with local tax regulations, support tax reporting and audits, and drive process improvements across Corporate Tax, VAT, Transfer Pricing and e‑Invoicing.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review corporate tax computations, schedules and returns, ensuring compliance with the Federal Tax Authority.
• Calculate deferred tax, reconcile tax‑related GL accounts and support month‑end/year‑end reporting.
• Prepare, file and reconcile VAT returns, manage refunds and maintain the group VAT asset register.
• Develop and maintain Transfer Pricing documentation (Master File, Local File) and conduct benchmarking analyses.
• Support implementation and ongoing management of UAE e‑Invoicing, coordinating ERP integration and monitoring invoice transmission.
• Coordinate with tax authorities and external auditors during tax audits, preparing documentation and responding to notices.
• Monitor changes in UAE tax legislation, identify risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Review ERP tax configurations, validate tax codes and contribute to tax automation initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Professional qualification (CA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent) preferred.
• 4–5 years of finance/tax experience, with at least 2–3 years focused on UAE tax compliance.
• Strong knowledge of UAE Corporate Tax, VAT and Transfer Pricing regulations.
• Experience handling FTA compliance, tax audits and regulatory inspections.
