Senior Technician – Inspection and Monitoring

About the role

The Senior Technician – Inspection and Monitoring leads weekly structured inspections across assigned zones to ensure right‑of‑way compliance, asset integrity and public safety. Working closely with Dubai Police, utility providers and internal teams, the role combines field audits, data capture and coordination of remedial actions.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute weekly inspection programmes covering diversions, permits, advertisements, temporary access and illegal occupations.
• Audit infrastructure elements such as asphalt, footpaths, signage, markings, tunnels and lighting; record findings in digital inspection systems.
• Inspect post‑completion utility works, produce snag reports with photographic evidence and monitor rectification progress.
• Log violations, observations and photos in systems like sTafteesh and generate daily, weekly and monthly compliance reports.
• Respond to emergency alerts (24/7), coordinate debris clearance, flooding, accidents or unauthorized parking with relevant agencies.
• Apply AI‑based inspection tools and digital mapping systems to optimise route coverage and identify repeat offenders.

Required profile

• Diploma in civil or transportation engineering (or equivalent technical diploma with 7+ years experience).
• Minimum 4 years of experience in inspection, right‑of‑way or infrastructure monitoring.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions and respond to emergencies at any time.
