Senior UX Researcher

About the role

The Senior UX Researcher will support ADIB’s design team by leading customer research and testing for digital banking products and services. Working closely with product owners, engineers, and designers, the role ensures that user insights drive the creation of intuitive, high‑impact digital experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute research plans aligned with project goals and timelines.
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative studies, including interviews, surveys, usability testing, and field studies.
• Analyse data to extract actionable insights about user behaviours, needs, and pain points.
• Create detailed personas and journey maps to guide design decisions.
• Collaborate with UX designers, product managers, and developers to integrate findings into product development.
• Present research outcomes and recommendations clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
• Stay current with UX research methodologies and tools, continuously improving practices.
• Ensure ethical research practices, respecting user privacy and confidentiality.
• Advocate for the user throughout the design process and measure the impact of UX improvements over time.

Required profile

• Proven experience in consumer‑focused product companies delivering exceptional user experiences.
• Strong ability to lead, drive, and evolve research projects in a fast‑moving environment.
• Excellent English communication (Arabic a plus), analytical thinking and problem‑solving skills.
• Capability to simplify complex problems and present findings to mixed audiences.
• User‑focused design mindset with experience gathering feedback through usability studies, user research, or A/B testing.
• Experience using quantitative and qualitative data to guide design decisions.
• Strong time‑management, self‑direction and prioritisation skills.
• Curiosity to learn and adapt to new research methods and tools.
