Site Engineer – Civil Construction

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Site Engineer (Civil) to lead civil construction activities on water and wastewater infrastructure projects. The role involves supervising daily site operations, coordinating with consultants and subcontractors, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise day‑to‑day civil works, including excavation, shoring, dewatering, RCC, underground structures and backfilling.
• Plan and allocate site resources – manpower, materials, machinery and equipment.
• Review drawings, specifications and method statements to guarantee correct implementation.
• Track progress, productivity, material consumption and equipment usage against schedules and budgets.
• Coordinate inspections, approvals and communications with consultants, clients, subcontractors and internal teams.
• Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and propose corrective actions for potential delays.
• Maintain site documentation such as daily reports, WIR/MIR, inspection records and quality files.
• Support the Project Manager with technical inputs and site coordination.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 3–6 years of UAE/GCC experience in civil construction, preferably water/wastewater projects.
• Valid UAE driving licence.
• Good communication skills in English and Hindi; Arabic is a plus.
