Site Engineer - Interior Fit-Out and Construction

About the role

An employer is looking for experienced, detail-oriented Site Engineers to oversee daily site operations on interior fit-out and construction projects. The role ensures that projects are executed according to approved designs, technical specifications and project schedules, with precise execution, quality control and efficient site coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise site activities and monitor workmanship
• Verify materials and installations and conduct inspections
• Ensure compliance with approved drawings, quality standards and safety requirements
• Coordinate contractors and subcontractors, designers, project managers, consultants, suppliers and site workforce
• Monitor project schedules, work progress and daily site activities
• Identify technical issues, coordinate solutions and prevent execution errors
• Prepare daily progress reports, site documentation and material requests

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering or a related engineering discipline
• At least 2 years of proven UAE experience in interior fit-out and construction site supervision
• Strong understanding of interior fit-out works, construction methods, materials and installation standards
• Ability to interpret architectural, interior design, structural and MEP drawings
• Experience supervising subcontractors, suppliers and site workforce
• Knowledge of UAE construction regulations, site safety requirements and authority standards

• Strong communication, leadership, problem-solving and organizational skills
