Site Engineer - MEP, Fit-Out and Villa Construction

About the role

A Site Engineer is sought in Dubai to manage and oversee MEP works, interior fit-outs and villa construction for residential projects. The role ensures compliance with design specifications, quality standards and local regulations, and coordinates contractors and stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise on-site MEP installations and interior fit-out activities for residential villas
• Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications and project plans
• Monitor work progress and ensure compliance with quality, safety and regulatory standards
• Liaise with architects, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers to resolve technical issues
• Conduct regular site inspections, prepare progress reports and update project schedules
• Manage material deliveries, site logistics and resource allocation
• Implement corrective actions for delays, defects or non-conformances
• Ensure adherence to Dubai Municipality codes and company HSE policies

Required profile

• 2-4 years of experience as a Site Engineer on MEP, fit-out and residential villa projects
• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Experience coordinating subcontractors and site teams
• Familiarity with Dubai building codes, regulations and permitting processes
• Excellent communication, problem-solving and organisational skills

Required skills

• Strong technical knowledge of MEP systems, interior design fit-out and villa construction
• Reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications
• Preferred: AutoCAD, Revit or other BIM software; PMP or Prince2 certification; previous Dubai or GCC experience; fluency in English and Arabic; knowledge of LEED standards
