Social Worker (UAE National) – Academic Year 2026/27

About the role

The Yasmina British Academy is seeking a UAE‑national Social Worker for the academic year 2026/27. Working within a vibrant, internationally‑oriented school, you will support students’ personal, social and academic development and contribute to a safe, inclusive learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor individual student progress and promote personal, social and academic growth.
• Engage with parents to discuss behaviour, attendance and wellbeing.
• Implement anti‑bullying strategies, support victims and intervene to prevent incidents.
• Deliver preventive and developmental counselling, including life‑skills and conflict‑resolution sessions.
• Assist students with career‑related skills such as résumé writing and interview preparation.
• Identify and refer cases requiring specialised support.

Required profile

• UAE national with a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related field.
• Minimum 12 months of relevant experience working with children or youth.
• Strong understanding of local cultural values and educational environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

• DCD License (if applicable)
