Specialist Consultant Gastroenterologist – UAE Relocation

About the role

SearchPlus HR is recruiting qualified Specialist and Consultant Gastroenterologists for leading hospitals and multispecialty healthcare facilities in the UAE. The role involves delivering comprehensive gastroenterology services, performing endoscopic procedures, and providing evidence‑based patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage a wide range of gastrointestinal and liver conditions, including GERD, IBD, hepatitis and cirrhosis.
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures such as upper GI endoscopy and colonoscopy.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical, laboratory and imaging findings.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary care with surgeons, oncologists, radiologists and nutritionists.
• Provide preventive screening, patient education and maintain accurate medical records.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognised institution.
• Postgraduate specialist qualification in Gastroenterology (UK CCT, US Board, Australian specialist qualification or equivalent).
• Relevant clinical experience in gastroenterology and hepatobiliary disorders.
• Eligibility for Specialist or Consultant licensing in the UAE.

Required skills

• Diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy (upper GI endoscopy, colonoscopy).
• Strong clinical judgement and patient‑management abilities.
