Specialist – Critical Care Medicine (Full‑Time)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Specialist in Critical Care Medicine to join a leading healthcare facility in Abu Dhabi. The role involves delivering high‑quality, evidence‑based care to critically ill patients within a multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and manage critically ill patients in the ICU.
• Provide comprehensive care for complex, life‑threatening conditions.
• Manage mechanical ventilation, hemodynamic instability, sepsis and other emergencies.
• Perform and supervise critical care procedures.
• Participate in emergency response and resuscitation activities.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans.
• Collaborate with consultants, nurses and allied health professionals.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records.
• Contribute to clinical audits, quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MBBS/MD or equivalent) with a recognized postgraduate qualification in Critical Care or Intensive Care Medicine.
• Relevant clinical experience as a Specialist in Critical Care Medicine.
• Eligibility for a DOH Abu Dhabi license or ability to obtain one.
• Valid professional registration and Good Standing Certificate.
• Strong clinical, communication and teamwork abilities.
