Specialist – Family Medicine

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Specialist in Family Medicine to join Royal Khalifa City Hospital in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality, ethical clinical care to patients while ensuring compliance with governance standards and maintaining accurate medical records.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive clinical services, including diagnosis, treatment, vaccination, and preventive medicine.
• Administer Executive Health Program examinations and order appropriate laboratory and imaging studies.
• Monitor and manage clinical risks associated with direct patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure adherence to clinical governance and quality standards.
• Refer patients to specialists when necessary and participate in continuing medical education.

Required profile

• 3–5 years post‑qualification experience at Specialist level, with at least 1 year in a Tier 1 country as defined by UAE regulator.
• Medical degree with recognized specialty qualification (fellowship/diploma) approved by UAE health authority.
• Active registration with relevant UAE healthcare authority and valid life‑support certifications.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and ethical practice.

Required skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
• Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) certification.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
