Specialist, Government Relations

About the role

KBR is seeking a Specialist in Government Relations to support its operations in Abu Dhabi. The role involves managing interactions with various UAE government authorities, processing visas and labor documents, and ensuring compliance with local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise with government authorities and regulatory entities on behalf of the company.
• Process visa, labor, immigration, pension, and licensing transactions.
• Monitor regulatory changes and provide updates on government requirements and compliance obligations.
• Maintain accurate records of government transactions, approvals, and employee documentation.

Required profile

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Government Relations, Public Relations Officer, Human Resources, or a similar role within the UAE.
• Experience liaising with UAE government authorities such as MOHRE, ICP, GDRFA, GPSSA, ADPF, Economic Departments, Municipality, and other departments.
• Familiarity with UAE labor laws, immigration regulations, and government procedures.
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in a related field and a valid UAE Driving License.
