People and Development Manager

About the role

As the People and Development Manager at Rixos Marina Abu Dhabi, you will shape learning and growth experiences for hotel staff, aligning development initiatives with business needs and brand values.

Key responsibilities

• Own the hotel’s learning and development plan, creating engaging onboarding, brand immersion, and leadership programmes.
• Facilitate learning sessions across service, behavioural and leadership topics, and keep mandatory training records up to date.
• Partner with leaders to identify talent, support succession planning and coach managers to become effective people leaders.
• Stay present on the hotel floor to understand operational needs and tailor development actions that improve guest experience.

Required profile

• Proven experience in people development, learning & development or talent development, preferably in luxury hospitality.
• Strong facilitation skills with the ability to engage staff at all levels.
• Good understanding of hotel operations and fast‑paced environments.
• Creative, collaborative mindset with a passion for helping others grow.

Required skills

• Experience designing and delivering onboarding and development programmes.
• Ability to track compliance and learning metrics.
