Specialist in Fetal Medicine – Dubai

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Specialist in Fetal Medicine to join a leading healthcare institution in Dubai. The role involves delivering advanced diagnostic, therapeutic and consultative services for high‑risk pregnancies, ensuring evidence‑based, patient‑centered care.

Key responsibilities

• Perform detailed fetal assessments, including anomaly scans, growth scans, Doppler studies and early pregnancy evaluations.
• Conduct advanced fetal procedures such as amniocentesis, chorionic villus sampling (CVS), fetal echocardiography and other invasive or non‑invasive diagnostics.
• Manage high‑risk pregnancies in collaboration with obstetricians, neonatologists and multidisciplinary teams.
• Provide counseling to expectant parents regarding fetal conditions, prognosis and management plans.
• Interpret complex fetal imaging and genetic testing results.
• Participate in maternal‑fetal medicine clinics and multidisciplinary case discussions.
• Ensure adherence to international clinical guidelines and patient‑centered care standards.
• Support departmental quality improvement, clinical governance and patient safety initiatives.
• Mentor junior doctors, sonographers and clinical staff.

Required profile

• Medical degree with recognized specialization in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
• Fellowship or subspecialty certification in Fetal Medicine / Maternal‑Fetal Medicine.
• Valid DHA eligibility or license (or eligibility to obtain one).
• Proven experience in fetal diagnostics and high‑risk pregnancy management.
• Commitment to evidence‑based practice and continuous professional development.
