Specialist – Obstetrics & Gynaecology

About the role

The Specialist in Obstetrics & Gynaecology will join M42 Health’s Abu Dhabi facility to provide comprehensive, evidence‑based care for women throughout pregnancy, childbirth and gynecological health. Working within granted clinical privileges, the physician will ensure high‑quality outcomes, patient safety and a positive experience.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver outpatient and inpatient obstetrics and gynecology services, including routine and high‑risk cases.
• Manage antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal care following international best practices.
• Diagnose and treat a wide range of gynecological conditions and perform credentialed procedures.
• Interpret diagnostic investigations such as ultrasound and laboratory results.
• Collaborate with neonatologists, anesthetists, nurses and allied health professionals.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, case discussions and quality‑improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and obtain informed consent for all interventions.
• Provide on‑call emergency coverage and contribute to clinical governance activities.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MBBS, MD or equivalent) with full registration to practice in the UAE.
• Board certification or equivalent in Obstetrics & Gynaecology.
• Experience managing both low‑risk and high‑risk obstetric cases.
• Demonstrated ability to work within multidisciplinary teams.
