Specialist Physician – General Surgery

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate Specialist Physician in General Surgery to deliver primary care for patients with injuries and common illnesses. The role involves diagnosing, treating, and guiding patients through their health journeys while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Examine patients, take medical histories, and address their concerns.
• Diagnose and treat a wide range of injuries, illnesses, and disorders.
• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests, communicating results clearly to patients.
• Counsel patients on diet, hygiene, preventive health, and lifestyle modifications.
• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date patient charts and treatment plans.
• Prescribe medications or therapies and explain medical procedures.
• Collaborate with other physicians, refer to specialists when needed, and work closely with nurses and support staff.
• Ensure compliance with medical regulations such as HIPAA.

Required profile

• Medical degree with completed residency and internship.
