Specialist Pulmonologist in Dubai

About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled and compassionate Specialist Pulmonologist to join our healthcare team in Dubai. The successful candidate will diagnose, treat and manage a broad spectrum of respiratory disorders while delivering patient‑centered care in a multidisciplinary environment.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic respiratory diseases such as asthma, COPD, pneumonia, interstitial lung disease and sleep‑related breathing disorders.
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including history, physical examination and diagnostic investigations.
• Interpret pulmonary function tests, chest imaging, arterial blood gases and bronchoscopy findings.
• Perform bronchoscopic procedures and other pulmonary interventions as required.
• Develop individualized treatment plans, monitor progress and adjust therapy.
• Manage patients needing respiratory support, including non‑invasive ventilation and oxygen therapy.
• Collaborate with intensivists, internal medicine physicians, thoracic surgeons and other specialists.
• Educate patients and families on disease management, smoking cessation and lifestyle changes.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation in line with DHA regulations.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) and specialization in Pulmonology/Respiratory Medicine (MD, DNB or equivalent).
• DHA eligibility letter, DHA license or ability to obtain a specialist license.
• Minimum 3‑5 years of post‑specialization experience as a pulmonologist.
• Valid BLS and ACLS certifications preferred.
• Additional fellowship or training in Interventional Pulmonology or Sleep Medicine is an advantage.
