Sr. HSE Supervisor

About the role

Worley Parsons is seeking a Senior HSE Supervisor to lead health, safety, security, environment and quality (HSSEQ) initiatives on a major EPC project in Abu Dhabi. The role ensures safe, sustainable delivery of the project while meeting client expectations and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure HSSEQ goals, objectives and targets are achieved through personal leadership and active involvement.
• Provide overall HSSE guidance to the project, establishing and implementing the HSSE Management System within the execution strategy.
• Monitor EPC Contractor performance to guarantee HSSE objectives are met.
• Lead PMC HSSE resources, EPC Contractor teams, and promote a strong safety culture.
• Identify, evaluate and resolve HSSE issues during the EPC phase.
• Coordinate with PMC construction engineers on HSSE‑related tasks.
• Oversee the development, maintenance and implementation of HSSE procedures by the EPC Contractor.
• Witness HSSE audits conducted by the EPC Contractor and report non‑conformances.
• Ensure EPC Contractor’s HSSE personnel are qualified and that the HSSE plan is executed.
• Review the Project Execution Plan (PEP) for HSSE compliance and verify vendor and sub‑vendor HSSE standards.
• Establish and maintain a robust HSSE records system and support investigations of HSSE concerns.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years (180 months) of HSSE experience in large‑scale EPC projects, preferably in oil, gas or petrochemical sectors.
• Proven leadership ability to guide multidisciplinary teams and contractors.
• Strong knowledge of HSSEQ management systems, audit processes and regulatory standards.
• Excellent communication skills to advise PMC teams and interact with stakeholders.
