Storekeeper

About the role

The Storekeeper is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring the smooth flow of materials in and out of the warehouse, and complying with strict security and safety standards. This position supports production and dispatch operations by handling stock transactions, inspections, and documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain inventory records using the approved ERP system, conduct daily stock transactions, cycle counts, and periodic physical inventories.
• Apply FIFO/FEFO principles, monitor stock levels, and report shortages or excesses.
• Receive incoming materials, verify quantities and specifications, coordinate unloading, inspection, and secure storage.
• Prepare outbound materials for issuance, perform picking, packing, labeling, and ensure timely delivery.
• Organize warehouse layout, maintain 5S standards, and operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and trolleys.
• Handle materials up to 25 kg safely, follow ergonomic guidelines, and use prescribed PPE.
• Adhere to security controls, confidentiality requirements, and support internal and external audits.
• Comply with HSE policies, UAE labour law, and report any unsafe conditions or incidents.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; diploma or vocational training in logistics or warehouse management preferred.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in warehouse or storekeeping operations.
• Ability to work with sensitive security printing materials and follow strict access restrictions.
• Physical capability to lift and move items up to 25 kg.

Required skills

• Proficiency with an ERP system for inventory management.
• Knowledge of FIFO/FEFO inventory principles.
• Experience operating material handling equipment (pallet jacks, trolleys).
• Understanding of security and compliance procedures for high‑value materials.
