Study Manager

About the role

The Study Manager will lead Worley’s engineering studies and small‑value front‑end design projects, primarily for brownfield and existing facilities. Reporting to senior client and Worley leadership, you will define development options, evaluate technical and economic feasibility, and deliver recommendations that progress to the next project gate.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, lead and deliver small‑value studies and front‑end engineering design packages for plant modifications, debottlenecking and capacity upgrades.
• Develop process design basis, equipment sizing, process flow diagrams and piping & instrumentation diagrams.
• Prepare technical study reports, relief and safeguarding inputs, utility summaries and heat‑and‑material balances.
• Interact with senior client management, operations teams and internal stakeholders to present findings and defend recommendations.
• Support transition of approved schemes into detailed design when required.

Required profile

• Qualified Chemical Engineer with extensive front‑end engineering experience.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Excellent presentation and conflict‑resolution skills.
• Proven experience on brownfield projects, debottlenecking and capacity improvement.
