Swimming Instructor – Al Ain British Academy

About the role

Aldar Academies are seeking a qualified Swimming Instructor to join Al Ain British Academy starting August 2026. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality swimming lessons to students of various ages, promoting water safety, and contributing to the school’s vibrant extracurricular program.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and conduct swimming lessons for beginners to advanced swimmers.
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Ensure a safe pool environment by enforcing safety rules.
• Maintain pool equipment and report any maintenance issues.
• Collaborate with school staff to integrate swimming activities into the broader curriculum.

Required profile

• Passion for teaching swimming and promoting water safety.
• Strong communication skills with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings or evenings as needed.

Required skills

• Swimming coaching certification or equivalent qualification.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Knowledge of water safety procedures.
