Talent Director

About the role

We are seeking a senior leader to shape and execute a comprehensive talent strategy for a rapidly growing, service‑focused organisation in Abu Dhabi. The role will drive talent acquisition, transformation, and development initiatives across corporate and operational functions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a talent strategy aligned with business growth objectives.
• Lead end‑to‑end talent acquisition for corporate and operational roles, including executive and senior leadership hiring.
• Manage a team of five direct reports, enhancing recruitment effectiveness, governance, and hiring metrics.
• Reduce time‑to‑hire while maintaining quality, compliance, and budget control.
• Oversee transformation of talent technology platforms such as ATS, LMS, and AI‑enabled solutions.
• Direct succession planning, leadership assessment, and talent pipeline programmes.
• Guide learning and development, leadership development, and performance‑related projects.
• Support organisational change, workforce planning, and business transformation initiatives.
• Manage talent‑related budgets, analytics, and executive stakeholder reporting.
• Champion nationalisation and workforce diversification strategies.

Required profile

• Proven senior talent acquisition leadership experience.
• Background in high‑volume and executive recruitment.
• Track record of improving recruitment processes, systems, and service delivery.
• Experience implementing or optimising ATS, LMS, and talent technology platforms.
• Strong transformation and change‑management expertise.
• Exposure to learning & development, succession planning, and leadership development.
• Experience leading sizeable teams and influencing senior stakeholders.
• Analytical, budgeting, and workforce‑planning capability.
• Preferably experience in hospitality, aviation, retail, healthcare, education or other service‑driven sectors.
• Regional experience in the Middle East is highly advantageous.
• Hands‑on, resilient, agile, and results‑driven mindset.
