Tax Specialist – Corporate Tax, VAT & Transfer Pricing

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Tax Specialist to oversee all tax matters for a diversified group of companies in the UAE. The role will manage corporate tax, VAT and transfer pricing compliance while supporting broader finance functions such as reporting, analysis and banking coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and maintain controls to ensure compliance with UAE corporate tax laws across the Group.
• Manage tax registrations, deregistrations and updates with the Federal Tax Authority (FTA).
• Prepare and file corporate tax computations, returns and disclosures within statutory deadlines.
• Handle tax payments, refunds and reconciliations, and support tax audits and regulatory reviews.
• Review contracts and transactions for tax compliance and support M&A, restructuring and financing activities.
• Monitor changes in UAE tax legislation and ensure timely implementation.
• Implement VAT controls, manage registrations, file returns and lead e‑invoicing initiatives.
• Design and maintain transfer pricing documentation, including Master File and Local File, and coordinate benchmarking studies.
• Collaborate with finance, legal and operational teams to align tax, accounting and business processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in corporate tax, VAT and transfer pricing within the UAE.
• Strong understanding of UAE tax laws, FTA procedures and compliance requirements.
• Detail‑oriented with excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally and support finance and strategic initiatives.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of UAE corporate tax regulations.
• Expertise in VAT compliance and e‑invoicing.
• Familiarity with transfer pricing documentation and benchmarking.
