Technical Training Manager

About the role

The Technical Training Manager will oversee the planning and execution of training programmes on drilling rigs in Dubai. This role ensures that technical training sessions are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in planning and program review for courses conducted on rigs and wells with technical instructors.
• Ensure training programmes can be executed using the allocated rig.
• Identify logistics, material, and tool requirements for training activities.
• Identify and mitigate HSE risks associated with training operations.
• Coordinate movement and inspection schedules for rig components.
• Supervise implementation of technical scenarios, providing guidance and instruction during drilling operations.
• Audit and inspect equipment, tools, personnel, and well/rig performance.
• Handle special projects as assigned.

Required profile

• Working knowledge of all Baker Hughes product lines, technologies, and services.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong planning and organisational abilities.
• Proven leadership, supervision and relationship‑building capabilities.
• Ability to deliver training to employees at all levels.
• Strong facilitation and interpersonal skills.
