Temporary Invigilator – October Start

About the role

Aldar Education is looking for a temporary Invigilator to support Yasmina British Academy beginning in October 2026. The role involves overseeing examinations to ensure they are conducted fairly, securely and in line with JCQ regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct examinations according to Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ) and academy guidelines.
• Secure exam materials before, during and after each session.
• Supervise candidates, manage emergencies, and record any irregularities.
• Set up exam rooms, admit candidates, distribute papers and collect scripts at the end of each exam.

Required profile

• Reliable, flexible and available during main examination periods.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills; able to give clear instructions.
• Confident, reassuring presence in exam rooms and able to work well as part of a team.
• Willingness to adhere to confidentiality and security requirements.

• Basic IT skills – use of email.
• Basic IT skills – mobile phone messaging.
