Test & Commissioning Director – Railway Infrastructure

About the role

SEGULA Technologies is looking for an experienced Test & Commissioning Director to lead the testing, commissioning and systems integration of a major railway infrastructure project in the United Arab Emirates. The role carries overall responsibility for delivering the T&C programme on time, safely and to quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the full T&C programme, ensuring compliance with contractual, safety, quality and schedule requirements.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary testing and commissioning teams, oversee test strategies, execution plans and commissioning milestones.
• Manage technical interfaces between rolling stock, civil works, power substations and operational systems.
• Collaborate with engineering, V&V, RAMS and safety assessors throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support handover to operations, trial running and operational readiness activities.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of professional experience, with extensive railway systems integration, testing and commissioning background.
• Proven leadership of large multidisciplinary T&C teams on railway projects.
• Strong understanding of RAMS, safety assurance and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent project planning, risk management and decision‑making abilities.
• Fluent English (Arabic is an advantage).
