About the role

Join DNV’s Emirati Development Programme as a Trainee Approval Engineer, supporting project teams with technical analyses, documentation, and reporting while gaining hands‑on experience in offshore structures and ship design.

Key responsibilities

• Provide engineering support to project teams, including technical analyses, documentation and reporting.
• Assist in the design and assessment of offshore structures and ship systems.
• Apply fundamental engineering principles using engineering software tools.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and multidisciplinary teams to ensure project delivery.

Required profile

• Recent Emirati graduate with a degree in engineering or a related field.
• Strong analytical mindset and eagerness to learn offshore and ship design concepts.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with engineering software tools (e.g., CAD, analysis packages) as referenced.
