UAS Monitoring & Countermeasure Compliance Senior Specialist

About the role

The Senior Specialist will ensure that all UAS monitoring and countermeasure systems operating in Dubai’s airspace meet regulatory, technical and operational standards. This role supports enforcement actions, conducts audits, and drives continuous improvement of the city’s unmanned‑aircraft security framework.

Key responsibilities

• Verify compliance of detection platforms, counter‑UAS technologies and integrated monitoring systems with DCAA and national aviation‑security standards.
• Conduct scheduled and ad‑hoc compliance audits, maintaining a structured database of UAS violations.
• Evaluate, test and certify new counter‑UAS solutions such as RF‑jamming, GNSS‑interference detection, radar‑based tracking and optical countermeasure systems.
• Coordinate with Dubai Police and other agencies for incident response and countermeasure deployment.
• Provide technical support during investigations of unauthorized UAS flights and system‑triggered alerts.
• Develop compliance checklists, technical guidelines, audit procedures and detailed performance reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering or aviation discipline.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in UAS monitoring, counter‑UAS technologies or aviation security compliance.
• Proven track record of conducting technical audits and supporting regulatory enforcement.
