Loss Prevention and Security Manager

About the role

The Loss Prevention and Security Manager will develop and maintain a comprehensive safety management system, ensure compliance with local regulations, and lead emergency response initiatives across JD.com’s operations in Dubai.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, update, and enforce a safety management system aligned with local laws and company policies.
• Formulate emergency response plans, establish response teams and safety committees, and maintain regular contact with fire and police agencies.
• Build and improve loss‑prevention processes using data analysis, investigations, audits, and security management to protect assets.
• Investigate abnormal incidents, produce reports, define corrective actions, and verify implementation.
• Maintain on‑site safety equipment and surveillance systems, and oversee safety for the self‑operated transport fleet and last‑mile delivery.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of experience in safety, loss prevention, risk management or related fields within chain retail or e‑commerce.
• At least three years of team‑management experience.
• Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication skills; Chinese language proficiency is a plus.
• Knowledge of local laws, regulations, and criminal‑law basics; ability to coordinate with government agencies.
• Honest, upright, able to work under high pressure, and veteran status is a priority.
