Specialist Project Management – PMO (Integration, Engineering & Management)

About the role

EDGE is seeking a Specialist – PMO with a strong engineering background to bridge strategic project governance and hands‑on technical execution. The role works closely with Project Managers and executive leadership to drive delivery, remove technical bottlenecks, and uphold PMO standards across defence‑related projects.

Key responsibilities

• Execute high‑impact technical and administrative tasks such as feasibility analyses, technical documentation, change‑order reviews, and risk register updates.
• Review engineering designs, feasibility studies, and technical specifications to ensure alignment with organisational goals and international compliance standards.
• Allocate engineering talent, equipment, and capital across competing projects to eliminate bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with Project Managers to define scope, technical requirements, and milestone criteria, ensuring seamless alignment between PMO governance and ground‑level execution.
• Coordinate between engineering disciplines, external contractors, and suppliers to streamline communication and accelerate problem‑solving.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical, Systems, or Software Engineering.
• Minimum 6 years experience in the defence industry and 5 years in a PMO role.
• Strong knowledge of system installation in aircraft (A/C) and proven supplier relationship management.
