Vendor / Category Manager – 24/7 Supermarket (Deliveroo Hop)

About the role

As a Vendor / Category Manager you will own the performance of a product category within Deliveroo Hop, the 24/7 digital supermarket, shaping strategy through range selection, pricing, promotions and supplier relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Vendor Management Lead in selecting product ranges, setting pricing and planning promotional campaigns.
• Monitor SKU performance, optimise the assortment and drive category growth against plan.
• Develop and manage relationships with local and international grocery suppliers, negotiating contracts and service terms.
• Analyse vendor performance, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and resolve disputes.
• Collaborate with the in‑stock team to source new products, maintain inventory levels and respond to market trends.

Required profile

• 3+ years experience in vendor or category management, preferably in grocery or FMCG.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving mindset to evaluate performance and identify improvement areas.
• Excellent negotiation and partnership‑building skills with suppliers.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, ambiguous environment and adapt to market changes.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel / Google Sheets proficiency.
• Familiarity with BI and data‑analysis tools such as SQL, Tableau or Power BI.
