Vice President Application Managed Services & Delivery

About the role

We are seeking a Vice President to lead Application Managed Services & Delivery for Aldar Academy in Abu Dhabi. The role is responsible for the end‑to‑end operation of the Group’s enterprise applications, ensuring they remain available, performant and well‑supported after go‑live, primarily through outsourced managed‑service partners.

Key responsibilities

• Own application operations across the Group, covering availability, performance, incident and problem management.
• Define and enforce hand‑over processes from delivery teams to operations, ensuring operational readiness before go‑live.
• Direct outsourced IT Managed Services providers, set service level agreements and monitor performance.
• Manage major incidents, coordinate communications and lead post‑incident reviews.
• Drive continuous improvement and automation to reduce incident volume and technical debt.
• Maintain systems administration for enterprise applications in collaboration with platform and security teams.
• Oversee vendor contracts, capacity planning and commercial terms for managed‑service engagements.
• Develop and mentor a high‑performing operations team.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in application operations, managed services or IT service management.
• Proven leadership of large, complex application estates, preferably in a real‑estate or similar enterprise environment.
• UAE national status is required.
• Strong track record of establishing hand‑over models and driving service‑level compliance.
