Vice President Infrastructure Managed Services

About the role

The Vice President Infrastructure Managed Services will own the operation of Aldar’s physical and network technology foundation across the Group and its subsidiaries. Reporting at executive level, this role ensures that data centres, networks, firewalls and connectivity are delivered as reliable, secure and cost‑disciplined services, primarily through outsourced managed‑service partners, while supporting the Group’s growth objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain networks, firewalls, data centres and connectivity across all Group entities, guaranteeing high availability, performance and capacity.
• Direct outsourced IT Managed Services, defining scope, service levels and performance metrics.
• Manage vendor contracts and relationships, ensuring commercial discipline and resilience.
• Implement infrastructure resilience measures such as redundancy, fail‑over and disaster‑recovery solutions.
• Execute security controls in partnership with Information Security, including secure configuration, segmentation and patching.
• Lead infrastructure modernization initiatives toward automation, software‑defined infrastructure and cloud alignment.
• Provide cost transparency, optimisation and lifecycle management of the infrastructure estate.
• Enforce Group‑wide infrastructure standards and coordinate with Cloud & DevOps, Data Platforms and Information Security teams.
• Build and lead the internal infrastructure team, fostering Emiratization and talent development.

Required profile

• UAE national with extensive senior‑level experience in large‑scale infrastructure operations.
• Proven track record of managing outsourced service providers and complex vendor contracts.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop and mentor technical teams.
• Demonstrated ability to drive cost‑discipline and operational excellence.
