Water Quality Senior Engineer

About the role

Miral Experiences is seeking a Water Quality Senior Engineer to lead the Animal Life Support Systems (ALSS) team at SeaWorld Abu Dhabi. The role ensures safe, efficient operation of water quality and filtration systems that protect animal health, guest experience, and overall park performance.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and schedule preventive, corrective and emergency maintenance for all ALSS equipment.
• Assign tasks, monitor daily activities and performance of ALSS engineers and technicians.
• Conduct daily briefings, ensure team training compliance and assess professional development.
• Oversee the operation, troubleshooting and repair of pumps, filtration units, electrical and automation systems.
• Maintain compliance with safety regulations while working in confined spaces and handling loads up to 45 kg.
• Manage shift work, including night shifts and public holidays, to guarantee continuous system availability.

Required profile

• Minimum 36 months (3 years) of relevant experience in water quality or ALSS environments.
• Ability to work in confined spaces, lift up to 45 kg and stand for prolonged periods.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, nights and public holidays.
• Leadership experience supervising engineers and technicians.
