3D Printing Modeler & Operator

About the role

Ultratec 3D Printing is looking for a skilled, detail-oriented 3D Printing Operator / Technician to join its production team. The ideal candidate is technically capable, a quick learner and genuinely passionate about 3D printing, with hands-on experience preparing 3D files, operating printers and managing daily production.

Key responsibilities

• Review, repair, optimize and split 3D models into printable parts according to printer capabilities and production needs.
• Prepare files with slicing software, optimizing orientation, supports and settings for quality and efficiency.
• Set up, operate and monitor multiple 3D printers to ensure consistent quality and timely production.
• Perform routine maintenance, calibration and basic troubleshooting.
• Organize printing schedules, maintain production sheets, track progress and manage digital files.
• Inspect printed components, identify defects and minimize material waste and failures.
• Suggest improvements to processes, machine efficiency and workflows.

Required profile

• Proven hands-on experience operating FDM, SLA and SLS printers.
• Experience repairing 3D models, mesh editing, splitting and file preparation.
• Strong organization and ability to handle several jobs at once; able to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Passionate about 3D printing and emerging technologies, smart, resourceful and a fast learner.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of slicing software such as Bambu Studio and similar.
• Advantageous familiarity with Blender, Meshmixer, Fusion 360 or zBrush.
• Understanding of printing materials, machine settings and troubleshooting.
