AC / HVAC Technician

About the role

The incumbent will maintain and upkeep all HVAC/AC equipment and systems, including installation, design, and preventive maintenance, for the facilities in Dubai.

Key responsibilities

• Perform periodic preventive maintenance on HVAC/AC units.
• Inspect, troubleshoot and repair air handling units, fresh‑air & exhaust fans, split, packaged and window type A/C units.
• Maintain accurate records of all operation and maintenance activities.
• Respond to emergencies and breakdowns promptly.
• Execute work orders issued by supervisors to specified standards.
• Adjust and calibrate temperature controllers, overload relays, pressure cut‑outs, oil pressure cut‑outs, low liquid temperature cut‑outs and sequencer controllers.
• Assist with electrical, mechanical and plumbing tasks as required.
• Monitor equipment performance and optimise for maximum efficiency.

Required profile

• Diploma in AC and Refrigeration.
• Fair to good command of English, both verbal and written.
• Minimum two years of technical operations and maintenance experience in HVAC/air‑conditioning within facilities management or building maintenance.
