AC Technician

About the role

The AC Technician will install, operate, maintain, and repair air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration systems for Novotel and ibis hotels in Dubai. Working under the Engineering Supervisor, you will ensure comfortable temperatures and indoor air quality across guest rooms, restaurants, kitchens, offices, and public areas.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
• Respond promptly to guest and department AC complaints and emergency maintenance requests.
• Carry out daily inspections of building services and equipment, maintaining logs and work orders.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and engineering housekeeping standards.

Required profile

• Technical or vocational qualification in engineering, HVAC, or refrigeration.
• At least two years of experience in a hotel engineering department.
• Ability to work shifts, handle emergencies, and collaborate within an engineering team.

Required skills

• Knowledge of HVAC systems and refrigeration principles.
• Understanding of electrical controls and troubleshooting techniques.
• Ability to read technical manuals, equipment diagrams, and maintenance instructions.
