ACCA Tutor / Accounting Specialist (Remote, Part-Time)

About the role

A fully remote, part-time position in the United Arab Emirates for an experienced ACCA Tutor / Accounting Specialist. You will deliver structured accounting instruction and support students preparing for ACCA examinations, teaching accounting and finance subjects, explaining technical concepts and guiding learners through exam preparation.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver online tutoring sessions on ACCA examination subjects and accounting principles
• Teach financial accounting, management accounting, financial reporting, audit, taxation and performance management
• Explain accounting standards, financial regulations, reporting procedures and exam concepts
• Develop lesson plans, study notes, practice questions, mock exams and revision materials
• Guide students through exam techniques, question analysis and study strategies, using case studies
• Assess student performance, give feedback and monitor progress, adapting methods to individual needs
• Stay up to date with ACCA syllabus updates and exam formats, and recommend improvements to course content

Required profile

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in accounting, auditing, financial reporting, finance or professional education preferred
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or a related field preferred
• ACCA membership, affiliate status or progress toward the ACCA qualification is an advantage
• Previous tutoring, teaching or mentoring experience preferred

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, management accounting and professional standards
• Excellent communication, presentation and instructional skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and online teaching or presentation platforms
