Access Control Officer

About the role

Wynn Al Marjan Island is seeking an Access Control Officer to join its Surveillance team and support the delivery of a perfect guest experience through secure and efficient access management.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily access control desk operations, including processing access requests, credential issuance, encoding, updates, deactivation, temporary passes and access group assignments.
• Monitor door status, alarms, access events, card validity and system alerts; escalate faults, unusual activity or urgent access concerns.
• Review access logs and exception reports to support investigations, audits and management reporting.
• Coordinate with Security, IT, Facilities and contractors to resolve access‑related matters while safeguarding confidential information.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; preferably a certificate or diploma in Security, Business Administration, Facilities Management, IT or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in security operations, access control administration, facilities operations or customer service.

Required skills

• Practical experience with Genetec access control platform.
• Knowledge of ANPR systems, CCTV, alarm monitoring, BMS and credential encoding processes.
• Familiarity with visitor management, key management and access log reporting.
