Account Manager – Government

About the role

Agency Helix, a full-service marketing agency based in Abu Dhabi, is hiring a full-time, on-site Account Manager for its government segment. The Account Manager acts as the main point of contact for assigned clients, turning their business objectives into effective marketing campaigns while keeping projects on time, in scope and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for client accounts, building strong relationships through proactive communication and strategic guidance.
• Manage projects from briefing through execution, ensuring quality control and client satisfaction.
• Coordinate with creative, content, strategy, media, production and digital teams to deliver integrated campaigns.
• Review client-facing deliverables for accuracy, quality and alignment with brand guidelines.
• Support the development and execution of marketing, digital and social media strategies, and plan content calendars across platforms.
• Monitor timelines, budgets, scopes and campaign performance, then prepare reports and recommendations for clients.
• Identify opportunities for account growth, upselling and long-term partnerships.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Preferred: 1-3 years of account management or client servicing experience in a marketing, advertising, digital or creative agency, and experience with government or semi-government clients.
• Experience in the UAE market and familiarity with local business culture is an advantage; UAE agency experience is highly preferred.
• Professional English; Arabic is required, and native Arabic speakers are preferred.

• Social media management tools such as Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Meta Business Suite, Later or Buffer.
• Project management and collaboration tools such as Asana, ClickUp, Slack or Monday.com.
• Strong presentation, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
