Account Manager – Social Media

About the role

digitalfarm is seeking an experienced Account Manager – Social Media to lead and manage client accounts across a diverse portfolio of brands. The role requires a client‑facing professional with solid understanding of social media strategy, content development, campaign execution, and agency account management. You will build strong client relationships, translate business objectives into effective social media strategies, and ensure seamless delivery of campaigns.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned client accounts, building and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Develop and execute social media strategies aligned with client objectives and brand goals.
• Lead campaign planning, content calendar development, and creative briefing processes.
• Oversee delivery of content and campaigns across multiple social media platforms and approve content for accuracy and brand alignment.
• Manage client communications, presentations, status meetings, and reporting.
• Collaborate with internal creative, strategy, production, and community management teams to deliver integrated campaigns.
• Monitor campaign performance and provide actionable recommendations for optimization.
• Support new business initiatives, including proposal development and RFP responses.

Required profile

• 4–6+ years of experience in social media marketing, with at least 2 years in an agency account management role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field.
• Fluency in Arabic and ability to work in Abu Dhabi (or willingness to relocate).
• Prior experience in a UAE social media agency environment.
