Account Manager – Specialty Chemicals (UAE)

About the role

Veolia is looking for an Account Manager to lead sales and account management for specialty chemical solutions in water and process treatment across the UAE. You will act as the primary contact for assigned customers, delivering technical expertise and driving growth.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact at customer sites, selling specialty chemicals for water and process treatment and retaining accounts.
• Listen to customer needs, provide technical service, and resolve issues promptly.
• Develop and present value propositions that leverage Veolia’s broad product portfolio.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure effective customer support and solution optimisation.
• Meet or exceed sales targets, revenue, profitability and account‑retention metrics.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry or a related discipline.
• Minimum 6 years of technical sales experience in the water and process‑treatment industry.
• Willingness to travel within the UAE and reside in the assigned region.
• Ability to work in heavy‑industrial environments and comply with strict safety, drug‑testing and background‑check requirements.
• Valid driver’s licence and ability to operate a company vehicle.

Required skills

• Specialty chemicals for water and process treatment.
• Knowledge of HPI and/or CPI process industries.
• Technical chemical sales expertise.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
