Accountant – Accounts Payable

About the role

We are looking for a diligent Accountant specialized in Accounts Payable to manage the full payment cycle, ensure accurate expense recording, and support month‑end financial close activities.

Key responsibilities

• Process invoices, purchase orders and payment vouchers, ensuring timely supplier payments.
• Maintain accounts payable accruals and perform month‑end reconciliations.
• Document all transactions in line with GAAP, IFRS and IAS standards.
• Verify expense reports, prepare paychecks for management approval and handle petty cash.
• Track supplier accounts, manage claim approvals and support contingent, contracting and employment liabilities.
• Prepare monthly payroll reports and conduct GL‑level reconciliations, including employee advances and loan accounts.
• Administer personal and company pension contributions for UAE national employees.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field (Master’s degree a plus).
• Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA or ACCA are advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS and IAS.
