Accountant & Accounts Receivable Officer (Arabic Speaker)

About the role

CAMEL Creatives is seeking a proactive Accountant who will manage day‑to‑day finance operations, including invoicing, collections, bookkeeping and VAT documentation. The role combines traditional accounting tasks with active client payment follow‑up, requiring strong communication in both Arabic and English.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and issue client Tax Invoices, Proforma Invoices, Credit Notes and Payment Vouchers, and maintain an up‑to‑date Accounts Receivable tracker.
• Monitor overdue client payments, follow up professionally via email and phone, and escalate significant delays to management.
• Maintain accurate QuickBooks records of income, expenses, supplier invoices and payments, ensuring all entries are supported by proper documentation.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations, identify missing supporting documents and coordinate with internal teams to resolve them.
• Support VAT and corporate tax preparation by maintaining input/output VAT records and liaising with the external tax agent.
• Provide management with regular financial updates, including receivable aging, overdue payments and cash position.

Required profile

• Proactive, confident in following up delayed payments and comfortable calling clients.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Fluent Arabic (native) and excellent written and spoken English.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field with 2–4 years of relevant UAE experience.
