Accountant – Central Accounts (Abu Dhabi)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our Central Accounts team in Abu Dhabi. The role covers a broad range of finance activities, including banking, treasury, payroll, and accounts payable, ensuring accurate financial processing and compliance with internal controls.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain group bank accounts, coordinate guarantees, letters, and trade finance instruments.
• Process inter‑bank and inter‑company fund transfers, inward remittances, customer receipts, and approved bank payments.
• Collect cheques from customers and perform monthly bank reconciliations with related journal entries.
• Review and reconcile general ledger, inter‑division, and balance‑sheet accounts.
• Validate cashier supporting documents for accuracy and internal‑control compliance.
• Handle salary deductions, employee‑related payments, and verify final settlements prepared by HR.
• Process payment vouchers, supplier invoices, and provide accounting support to various departments.
• Assist the Senior Finance Manager with additional accounting and treasury duties as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
• 3–5 years of accounting and treasury experience, preferably in the UAE.
• Strong analytical, reconciliation, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on meeting deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SAP FICO.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Microsoft Office 365, Outlook, and Teams.
