About the role
Our client, a leading chemical trading and manufacturing company in Dubai, is looking for an experienced Accountant to manage financial operations, including letters of credit, import‑export banking, and tax compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Process and manage Letters of Credit (LC) and coordinate with banks for import and export transactions.
- Prepare financial reports, maintain accurate accounting records, and perform bank reconciliations.
- Handle accounts receivable and payable, including invoicing, payment tracking, and supplier reconciliations.
- Ensure VAT and Corporate Tax compliance, documentation, and reporting.
Required profile
- Minimum 2 years of accounting experience in the region, preferably in trading or manufacturing.
- Hands‑on experience with Letters of Credit and import/export banking procedures.
- Strong knowledge of VAT and Corporate Tax requirements.
- Analytical and organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
