Accountant - Education Sector

About the role

An experienced, detail-oriented Accountant is sought for a position in the education sector, based in Sharjah, UAE. The role covers daily financial operations, and immediate joiners are preferred. The salary is up to AED 7,000.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations and keep accurate financial records.
• Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing and fee collections.
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor financial transactions.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, reports and summaries.
• Maintain records of student fee payments and outstanding balances.
• Assist with budgeting, expense monitoring and financial planning.
• Ensure proper documentation and compliance with accounting procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Previous experience as an Accountant, preferably in the education sector.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
