Accountant – E‑Invoicing & GST Compliance

About the role

Black Pearl Consult is seeking an Accountant specialized in E‑Invoicing and GST compliance to support the rollout of the UAE E‑Invoicing framework. The role will involve configuring ERP systems, ensuring invoice data meets regulatory standards, and assisting with VAT/GST reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Support implementation and compliance initiatives for E‑Invoicing across the company.
• Configure ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) to generate compliant electronic invoices and manage XML invoice formats.
• Coordinate with technology teams and service providers for integration, including IRN generation and ASP integration.
• Process supplier invoices, debit/credit notes, and handle accounts receivable/payable tasks.
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, pre‑payments and perform reconciliations.
• Assist with VAT/GST compliance, reporting and testing of E‑Invoicing readiness.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Commerce required; CA Inter preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in E‑Invoicing and accounting functions.
• Hands‑on experience with E‑Invoicing frameworks in Saudi Arabia and strong understanding of GST/VAT regulations.
• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
