Controller, Finance (Joint Ventures)

About the role

The Controller, Finance (JVs) will supervise and control the Finance & Control Division, ensuring all accounting activities align with ADNOC's financial policies and procedures. The role provides critical financial reporting to support informed decision‑making and contributes to ADNOC Drilling's key performance indicators.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise with government and external auditors, review audit results and implement recommendations.
• Monitor cash‑flow forecasts, authorize bank release letters and oversee daily bank account reviews.
• Supervise monthly reconciliations, approve debit notes and single payments, and manage fund reallocations with proper approvals.
• Ensure proper filing and archiving of accounts payable documents and void returned payments after confirmation.
• Provide financial information to internal and external auditors and develop action plans for audit recommendations.
• Participate in reviewing financial systems, processes and procedures, endorsing user acceptance tests for system enhancements.
• Deliver financial awareness sessions and recommend control and compliance improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent.
• Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in a major industrial organization, including at least 3 years at senior accountant or financial controller level.
• Professional certification (ACCA, CPA, ACA, CFA or equivalent) is an advantage.
