Accountant – F&B Multi-Outlet Operations

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on, commercially‑minded Accountant to manage the finance and accounting function for a growing chain of more than ten coffee‑shop outlets in Dubai. The role goes beyond bookkeeping, requiring ownership of daily sales reconciliation, supplier invoicing, inventory control, payroll and profitability reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full accounting cycle across all outlets, including AP, AR, bank reconciliations, journal entries and month‑end/ year‑end closings.
• Prepare monthly P&L, balance sheet and cash‑flow statements, and produce outlet‑level profitability and variance reports for management.
• Reconcile daily POS sales, monitor food & beverage costs, wastage, discounts and other operational leakages.
• Oversee procurement finance – three‑way matching of purchase orders, goods received notes and invoices, and maintain supplier statements.
• Control inventory records, conduct physical counts and investigate variances.
• Coordinate payroll processing, attendance reconciliation and employee cost reporting.
• Monitor cash flow, petty‑cash controls and ensure compliance with UAE VAT and corporate tax requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in F&B, café or multi‑outlet hospitality environments.
• Proven ability to manage finance functions across multiple locations independently.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and commercial awareness.
• Valid UAE driving licence is an advantage.

Required skills

• Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with accounting/ERP systems and point‑of‑sale (POS) platforms.
• Good understanding of UAE VAT and corporate tax regulations.
