Accountant / Finance Analyst

About the role

The Accountant / Finance Analyst will support Aldar’s finance function by monitoring bank transactions across multiple business units, performing month‑end reconciliations, and ensuring accurate accounting of corporate credit‑card payments. The role works closely with the ERP, Payables, Receivables and Customer departments to maintain clean financial records.

Key responsibilities

• Download bank statements and monitor MT940 file uploads in the ERP cash‑management module.
• Coordinate with the ERP team to resolve missing files, failed uploads and activate MT940 functionality for new accounts.
• Investigate and resolve unreconciled transactions after auto‑clearance runs.
• Support the Payables team in generating SWIFT advice and obtain direct deposit details from banks.
• Perform month‑end bank reconciliations for over 250 accounts across Aldar Corporate, Development, Investments and Projects.
• Reconcile credit‑card proceeds reports received from RPA and manually clear unmatched items.
• Liaise with banks to obtain missing credit‑card proceeds reports and respond to queries from internal finance teams.
• Record payroll and other unreconciled items not processed through Payables or Receivables modules in Oracle.
• Distribute monthly credit‑card statements to custodians and follow up on delayed payment claims.

Required profile

• Strong background in accounting or finance with experience in bank and credit‑card reconciliation.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably Oracle.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally and communicate with banks and internal stakeholders.
• Detail‑oriented with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
